Aries Full Moon

We’ve only just crossed the equinox. For a moment, it felt as though we could stand still, take a breath, and see where we are.

Now the energy is building again.

On 26 September, the Full Moon rises in Aries, opposite the Sun in Libra. To me, this brings a very human question into focus: Can I stay connected to others without losing myself?

Many of us know what it feels like to keep the peace by swallowing what we really think. We say yes when something in us says no. We wait for a better moment to have the conversation. We tell ourselves our needs can wait a little longer.

Sometimes compromise is loving. But sometimes what we call “keeping the peace” is a quiet form of self-abandonment.

Aries brings us back to the self—not in a selfish way, but in an honest one. What do I want? What matters enough for me to act? Where have I been waiting for permission to begin?

Full Moons can bring feelings into the open, and this one may feel particularly immediate. Anger, restlessness or a sudden desire to change something doesn’t mean you need to make a dramatic decision overnight. Those feelings may be asking you to listen more closely. What boundary has been crossed? What truth have you been trying to make smaller so it will fit comfortably into someone else’s life?

There’s another layer to this Full Moon. With Neptune close to the Moon, intuition and uncertainty can sit side by side. You may sense that something is shifting without yet having all the facts. Give yourself permission to notice what you feel—and the patience to check what you know. We don’t need to turn every uneasy feeling into a prediction.

Pluto and Uranus are also part of the wider astrological picture, bringing themes of deeper awareness and change. My sense is that this Full Moon isn’t simply about speaking up. It’s about recognizing an old pattern clearly enough that we can choose differently.

That choice may be small. A truthful conversation. A boundary stated calmly. A project finally begun. A day of rest instead of another promise made from exhaustion.

The equinox invited us to find our centre. The Aries Full Moon asks whether we’re willing to live from it.

So as the Moon rises, perhaps sit with one question: What is the next honest step I can take without abandoning myself—or closing my heart to anyone else?

You don’t need the entire path tonight. One honest step is enough.

With love,
Anina
